My traveling interest really started when I learned more about my family background and my ancestry from the Caribbean island of Haiti. Being a former French colony and the first independent black nation in the industrializing western world, I was in awe learning about different peoples, cultures, and languages. This interest grew even further when I received the opportunity to travel in college to Japan & Brazil, and later reside in Seoul, South Korea for graduate school.
I wouldn’t say that I am a travel expert or even a backpacker. But, my suitcase has certainly been to many places and seen many things. I hope to share with you my travel experiences: past, present, and future both here at home and abroad.
